Turf Medic is a turf-only cleaning specialist serving every Mountain's Edge neighborhood. We restore matured builder turf, extract old infill, treat pet odor at the backing, and reset the fiber pile on installations that look worn but are still structurally sound.
Local Factors
Why Mountain's Edge turf needs professional cleaning
Mountain's Edge sits at the southwest corner of the valley, built on rising terrain that peaks at Exploration Peak Park at about 2,846 feet. Three specifics of this geography and housing profile make professional cleaning essential.
First, Mountain's Edge elevation and wind exposure combine to produce more airborne particulate settling into turf than the valley floor. Homes on the higher western and southern edges of Mountain's Edge are especially affected. Wind blown mineral dust from the open desert south and west compacts infill and stiffens fibers over a season.
Second, Mountain's Edge turf is mostly builder installed and now in the ten to fifteen year range. That is the age where the original infill. Often uncoated silica sand on early phase installations. Has reached saturation for any home with pets. Professional cleaning with infill extract and replace is the fix. Full replacement is usually not needed.
Third, lot sizes in Mountain's Edge run larger than the city average. A typical backyard is 1,200 to 2,500 square feet of turf, which means uneven pet use concentration, varied foot traffic patterns, and cleaning needs that differ zone by zone.

What We See
Common turf issues in Mountain's Edge homes
Mature builder turf infill saturation.
Ten to fifteen year old installations are past the point where surface cleaning reaches anything meaningful. Extract the old infill, flush the backing, replace with current spec coated-sand infill, and the turf performs like new.
Elevation related wind dust compaction.
Homes on the higher elevation western and southern edges of Mountain's Edge benefit from twice yearly cleaning instead of the standard annual. Compacted mineral dust is one of the main things that makes older turf look "tired."
Trail system adjacency.
Mountain's Edge is designed around a 12-mile Promenade trail system. Homes backing to the trail or close to Exploration Peak Park see more pedestrian dust and organic debris drift into the yard. It is manageable with regular cleaning. Untreated, it compounds over years.
Pet concentration on large lots.
Dogs in big Mountain's Edge backyards tend to pick a small corner of the yard and use it repeatedly. That zone saturates the infill faster than the rest. Targeted extraction during the cleaning resolves it.

Ownership
Meet the Owner
Turf Medic was founded in 2026 by Beau, a Las Vegas resident since 2018. Before founding Turf Medic, Beau built and sold a Las Vegas pool cleaning company and currently manages a residential real estate portfolio, meaning he understands service-business standards, HOA interactions, and what homeowners actually want out of a recurring outdoor service. The origin story is simple: Beau has dogs, his own yard smelled, nothing he tried worked, so he learned how to clean turf properly. Once neighbors started asking him to do their yards, Turf Medic was a business.
Every Turf Medic job runs on equipment built specifically for artificial turf, no improvised carpet cleaners, no homeowner-grade gear off a hardware-store shelf. The professional hydrogen peroxide cleaning system is EPA-registered, contains no chlorine, no ammonia, no harsh solvents, and decomposes into water and oxygen with nothing left on the turf when we leave. Beau was formally trained in Phoenix, Arizona by Renew Turf, one of the Southwest's established turf specialists.
