Turf Medic is a artificial turf cleaning specialist serving Red Rock Country Club. We deep clean, restore, and maintain the 60 to 90 ounce face-weight turf systems common to this community, with specific protocols for canyon dust exposure, saltwater pool migration, and the integrated landscape designs that anchor these homes.
Local Factors
Why Red Rock Country Club turf needs professional cleaning
Red Rock Country Club opened in 2001 as a private, guard gated golf community inside Summerlin. Arnold Palmer and Arnold Palmer Design Group built the Arroyo Course (public) and the Mountain Course (private). The community includes custom homes, estate lots, and luxury townhomes. Most with higher grade turf installations. Three things about Red Rock Country Club specifically make professional turf cleaning necessary more often than homeowners expect.
First, Red Rock Canyon proximity. The community literally sits against the canyon's eastern edge. Wind blown mineral dust off the Red Rock basin settles into turf fibers faster here than anywhere else in Summerlin. If your home faces west or northwest, every spring windstorm drops a visible layer of canyon colored dust into your yard. That dust compacts the infill and stiffens the fibers. A commercial grade groom plus infill flush is the only thing that restores the cushion.
Second, higher grade installations. Red Rock Country Club turf tends toward 60 to 90 ounce face weights. Denser fibers, deeper thatch layers, coated-sand infill. Higher grade turf looks great longer than builder grade turf. But when it does need cleaning, it needs a deeper extraction. The reason is simple: more material per square foot traps more organic buildup per square foot. Hosing does not reach the infill layer.
Third, saltwater pools and integrated landscape. Most RRCC homes have saltwater pool systems and professionally designed landscapes with specimen plantings and hardscape. Salt migrates into adjacent turf. Landscape sensitivity matters. We flush around the pool zones as a specific step and work turf-only without disturbing the surrounding design.

What We See
Common turf issues in Red Rock Country Club homes
Red Rock Canyon dust compaction.
The single most common problem we see in RRCC. Wind blown mineral dust accumulates in turf infill at a rate Summerlin's eastern villages do not experience. The result is turf that feels hard underfoot, looks faded, and does not spring back the way it did when installed. A professional commercial grade groom plus infill flush restores cushion and color.
High face-weight masking deep buildup.
High face-weight turf hides surface buildup longer than entry level turf. Which is what you paid for. While the infill layer accumulates pet waste, pool salt, canyon dust, and organic debris. By year three to four, RRCC installations need a full professional deep clean even if they look fine on top.
Saltwater pool migration.
Salt accumulates in turf around the pool deck and stiffens fibers over time. We flush around the pool zones as a specific line item on every job.
Integrated landscape sensitivity.
RRCC turf is usually part of a designed landscape. We work turf-only, scale our equipment to the footprint, and do not stage gear on hardscape or disturb plantings.

Ownership
Meet the Owner
Turf Medic was founded in 2026 by Beau, a Las Vegas resident since 2018. Before founding Turf Medic, Beau built and sold a Las Vegas pool cleaning company and currently manages a residential real estate portfolio, meaning he understands service-business standards, HOA interactions, and what homeowners actually want out of a recurring outdoor service. The origin story is simple: Beau has dogs, his own yard smelled, nothing he tried worked, so he learned how to clean turf properly. Once neighbors started asking him to do their yards, Turf Medic was a business.
Every Turf Medic job runs on equipment built specifically for artificial turf, no improvised carpet cleaners, no homeowner-grade gear off a hardware-store shelf. The professional hydrogen peroxide cleaning system is EPA-registered, contains no chlorine, no ammonia, no harsh solvents, and decomposes into water and oxygen with nothing left on the turf when we leave. Beau was formally trained in Phoenix, Arizona by Renew Turf, one of the Southwest's established turf specialists.
