Artificial Turf Cleaning in Tuscany, Henderson

Tuscany sits in east Henderson. A Mediterranean themed gated community built by Rhodes Homes around a Ted Robinson-designed golf course. The community mixes villa homes, single-family estates, and golf perimeter custom lots, and the turf installations here come in about as many varieties as the homes do. The cleaning approach has to flex accordingly.

Local Factors

Why Tuscany turf needs professional cleaning

Tuscany was developed by Rhodes Homes starting in 2004, with the Ted Robinson-designed Tuscany Golf Club at its center. The community includes a mix of villa homes, single-family homes, and larger custom lots across approximately 900 acres in east Henderson. Three things about Tuscany specifically make professional turf cleaning necessary more often than homeowners expect.

First, courtyard turf in villa homes. A significant portion of Tuscany is villa style homes with enclosed courtyard turf. Small, high wall enclosed turf footprints that get limited airflow and concentrated use. Enclosed turf foul's faster than open yards because bacteria, pet waste, and moisture all stay contained. Odor amplifies in summer heat in a way open lot turf does not. Our process handles enclosed turf with the same full system approach, scaled to the footprint.

Second, golf course perimeter lots. Homes on the Tuscany Golf Club perimeter pick-up fertilizer overspray, grass clippings, and course management chemistry that accumulate in synthetic turf infill. We address golf perimeter zones as a specific line item.

Third, 15-to-20 year old first generation installations. Tuscany started building in 2004, so the earliest turf conversions here are now reaching the end of first generation infill life. Older silica-sand systems hold pet urine residue in ways current coated-sand systems do not. A deep extraction plus replacement typically restores the yard completely.

What We See

Common turf issues in Tuscany homes

Issue 01

Enclosed courtyard turf amplification.

The single most distinctive problem we see in Tuscany. Villa style courtyards have limited airflow, which concentrates pet odor and traps organic debris. A full system deep clean plus sanitization resets the space. For heavy pet use villa courtyards, we recommend a quarterly cadence to stay ahead of buildup.

Issue 02

Golf course perimeter overspray.

Homes on the Tuscany Golf Club perimeter pick-up fertilizer overspray, grass clippings, and course chemistry. We address these zones as a specific line item on every job.

Issue 03

Aging first generation turf.

A lot of Tuscany turf is now 15 to 20 years old on original infill. A deep extraction plus fresh coated-sand infill restores the yard.

Issue 04

Villa pool deck turf.

Small pool-adjacent turf installations in villa homes catch splash out, deck runoff, and saltwater pool migration on a concentrated footprint. We flush these zones specifically on every job with saltwater pool exposure.

Ownership

Meet the Owner

Turf Medic was founded in 2026 by Beau, a Las Vegas resident since 2018. Before founding Turf Medic, Beau built and sold a Las Vegas pool cleaning company and currently manages a residential real estate portfolio, meaning he understands service-business standards, HOA interactions, and what homeowners actually want out of a recurring outdoor service. The origin story is simple: Beau has dogs, his own yard smelled, nothing he tried worked, so he learned how to clean turf properly. Once neighbors started asking him to do their yards, Turf Medic was a business.

Every Turf Medic job runs on equipment built specifically for artificial turf, no improvised carpet cleaners, no homeowner-grade gear off a hardware-store shelf. The professional hydrogen peroxide cleaning system is EPA-registered, contains no chlorine, no ammonia, no harsh solvents, and decomposes into water and oxygen with nothing left on the turf when we leave. Beau was formally trained in Phoenix, Arizona by Renew Turf, one of the Southwest's established turf specialists.
