Artificial Turf Cleaning in Rhodes Ranch

Rhodes Ranch is a 1,400-acre guard gated golf community in southwest Las Vegas, built around a Ted Robinson-designed course. The homes here are larger than most of the surrounding southwest, the lots are deeper, and the turf installations have been absorbing golf course chemistry and desert heat for two plus decades. It is a specific turf environment.

Turf Medic is an artificial turf cleaning specialist serving Rhodes Ranch. We deep clean, sanitize, and restore turf in the single-family estates, golf course perimeter lots, and interior streets that make up this community. With specific protocols for golf course overspray, larger residential footprints, and the maintenance standards expected inside a 24-hour guarded community.

Local Factors

Why Rhodes Ranch turf needs professional cleaning

Rhodes Ranch was developed by James Rhodes beginning in the late 1990s as a master planned community anchored by the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. The community includes approximately 2,000 homes across 1,400 acres, with 24-hour guarded entry and resort style amenities. Three things about Rhodes Ranch specifically make professional turf cleaning necessary more often than homeowners expect.

First, golf course overspray and chemistry. Turf on lots adjacent to the Rhodes Ranch course picks up fertilizer overspray, grass clippings, and turf management chemistry from the course maintenance cycle. That material accumulates in synthetic turf infill and can affect both the look and the longevity of the installation. Our process addresses golf perimeter turf as a distinct line item.

Second, larger lot footprints. Rhodes Ranch lots are generally deeper and broader than typical southwest Las Vegas lots. That means more total square footage of turf per home, and often a mix of sun exposed and shaded zones across the same yard. A cleaning plan needs to account for the full footprint, not just the primary dog area.

Third, aging first generation installations. Most Rhodes Ranch turf installations went in during the first wave of Las Vegas synthetic grass popularity. Roughly 2005 through 2015. That means a lot of this community is on turf that is ten to twenty years old. Older turf uses older infill. A deep extraction plus current spec replacement typically restores the yard completely.

What We See

Common turf issues in Rhodes Ranch homes

Issue 01

Golf course perimeter overspray.

The single most distinctive problem we see on Rhodes Ranch golf adjacent lots. Fertilizer overspray, grass clippings, and turf management chemistry migrate from the golf course onto adjacent synthetic turf. We address these zones as a specific line item. Extract, flush, and sanitize.

Issue 02

Aging first generation installations.

A lot of Rhodes Ranch turf is ten to twenty years old on original infill. A deep extraction plus fresh coated-sand infill resets the yard.

Issue 03

Larger lot footprint maintenance.

Deeper and broader yards often have underused perimeter zones where organic debris accumulates and pet zone overuse zones where fibers flatten. A full footprint clean addresses both conditions in the same visit.

Issue 04

Guard gate access coordination.

We coordinate with the 24-hour guard shack ahead of every visit, show up in a single labeled vehicle, and follow vendor protocol consistent with community standards.

Ownership

Meet the Owner

Turf Medic was founded in 2026 by Beau, a Las Vegas resident since 2018. Before founding Turf Medic, Beau built and sold a Las Vegas pool cleaning company and currently manages a residential real estate portfolio, meaning he understands service-business standards, HOA interactions, and what homeowners actually want out of a recurring outdoor service. The origin story is simple: Beau has dogs, his own yard smelled, nothing he tried worked, so he learned how to clean turf properly. Once neighbors started asking him to do their yards, Turf Medic was a business.

Every Turf Medic job runs on equipment built specifically for artificial turf, no improvised carpet cleaners, no homeowner-grade gear off a hardware-store shelf. The professional hydrogen peroxide cleaning system is EPA-registered, contains no chlorine, no ammonia, no harsh solvents, and decomposes into water and oxygen with nothing left on the turf when we leave. Beau was formally trained in Phoenix, Arizona by Renew Turf, one of the Southwest's established turf specialists.
