Turf Medic is an artificial turf cleaning specialist serving Seven Hills' guard gated hilltop communities. We deep clean, sanitize, and restore the mature turf installations that define this Rio Secco anchored community. Including the view lot yards where sloped turf, wind exposure, and higher grade face weights create maintenance challenges you simply do not see in flat valley floor communities.
Local Factors
Why Seven Hills turf needs professional cleaning
Seven Hills was developed starting in 1996 by American Nevada Corporation, built around Rio Secco Golf Club (designed by Rees Jones). The community covers 1,300 acres of hilltop terrain and includes some of Henderson's most expensive real estate. Three things about Seven Hills specifically make professional turf cleaning necessary more often than homeowners expect.
First, the elevation brings constant wind exposure. Hilltop homes catch wind and wind blown dust that the valley floor does not see at the same intensity. Mineral dust settles into turf fibers and compacts the infill at a faster rate than anywhere in Summerlin or central Henderson. If your lot faces west or southwest, your turf has been absorbing Red Rock basin dust every season for two decades.
Second, age. The oldest Seven Hills turf installations are approaching the three decade mark. Even homes that did a turf refresh in the mid-2000s are now at or past the 20 year mark on their current system. Older turf uses older infill. Older infill holds pet urine residue the way newer coated-sand systems do not. A deep extraction plus infill replacement is often the right call.
Third, view lot terrain. A significant portion of Seven Hills homes sit on sloped lots with terraced turf areas that follow the contour. Sloped turf drains differently, compacts unevenly under foot traffic, and accumulates debris in the low flow corners. Flat yard cleaning protocols do not fully address it. We adjust equipment and approach on the sloped zones.

Gate access is coordinated ahead of every visit. We use a gate code, a guest pass through your community portal, or call up from the guard shack. Whatever your association prefers.
What We See
Common turf issues in Seven Hills homes
Hilltop wind and dust compaction.
The single most common problem we see in Seven Hills. Years of wind blown dust accumulates in turf infill at a rate the flat valley never experiences. The result is turf that feels hard underfoot, looks dull and faded, and does not spring back the way it did when installed. A full commercial grade groom plus infill flush restores cushion and color.
Aging infill from early build out turf installations.
Many original Seven Hills turf yards are on their original infill and it is showing. Older silica-sand systems hold pet urine residue that current coated-sand systems do not. An extraction and replace cycle cures the smell and the matting in one visit.
Slope drainage issues and corner accumulation.
Sloped yards accumulate debris and pet waste at the low flow corners. We adjust our approach on sloped zones to ensure full extraction, not just a surface pass.
View lot turf integration with custom landscape.
Seven Hills homes are typically part of designed landscapes with specimen plantings, stone borders, and view lot pool decks. We work turf-only, do not disturb the hardscape, and scale our equipment to the footprint.

How We Run Every Visit
Every Seven Hills job follows the same six step process we use valley wide: Turf Medic assessment, debris clear and pretreatment, deep infill extraction, professional hydrogen peroxide treatment, sanitization, and fiber grooming with final walkthrough. Seven Hills properties with sloped terrain or larger footprints may run three to four hours. For the full step-by-step breakdown, see our turf cleaning service page.
Ownership
Meet the Owner
Turf Medic was founded in 2026 by Beau, a Las Vegas resident since 2018. Before founding Turf Medic, Beau built and sold a Las Vegas pool cleaning company and currently manages a residential real estate portfolio, meaning he understands service-business standards, HOA interactions, and what homeowners actually want out of a recurring outdoor service. The origin story is simple: Beau has dogs, his own yard smelled, nothing he tried worked, so he learned how to clean turf properly. Once neighbors started asking him to do their yards, Turf Medic was a business.
Every Turf Medic job runs on equipment built specifically for artificial turf, no improvised carpet cleaners, no homeowner-grade gear off a hardware-store shelf. The professional hydrogen peroxide cleaning system is EPA-registered, contains no chlorine, no ammonia, no harsh solvents, and decomposes into water and oxygen with nothing left on the turf when we leave. Beau was formally trained in Phoenix, Arizona by Renew Turf, one of the Southwest's established turf specialists.
