Turf Medic cleans artificial turf throughout Boulder City. From the historic 1930s core downtown to Lake Mountain Estates, Boulder Scenic, Del Prado, and the newer fringe developments along the highway 93 corridor. We know how to work respectfully in a smaller community where the neighbors notice everything.
Local Factors
Why Boulder City turf needs professional cleaning
Boulder City has a different climate and housing profile than the rest of the Las Vegas Valley, and that changes how artificial turf ages here.
First, Boulder City sits at roughly 2,500 feet of elevation, about 500 feet higher than the Strip. Temperatures run three to five degrees cooler than downtown Las Vegas in summer, which helps turf last longer. But it does not eliminate the uric acid crystallization problem. Dog urine still crystallizes when the surface hits 115 degrees. It just happens on fewer days per year.
Second, a lot of Boulder City's turf is on smaller lots. The historic downtown homes are on 5,000- to 7,000 square foot lots with backyards in the 200- to 800 square foot range. Small turf yards with concentrated pet use foul faster than large open yards, no matter the climate.
Third, Boulder City homeowners keep their yards up. It is a point of community pride. When the turf starts to look matted, faded, or dingy, homeowners notice and want it fixed. Not replaced. That is exactly what professional cleaning is for.

What We See
Common turf issues in Boulder City homes
Smaller yard pet concentration.
The smaller the turf yard, the more concentrated the pet load. A single dog on a 300 square foot Boulder City backyard produces the same uric acid as a single dog on a 2,000 square foot Henderson yard. Just spread over one sixth the area. That saturates infill much faster.
Older homes with retrofitted turf.
Many Boulder City 1960s and 1970s homes have had turf installed as a retrofit over a previous grass yard. Retrofitted installs sometimes use builder grade turf on a compacted soil base without full aggregate prep, which affects drainage. We diagnose drainage during the assessment and can recommend repair partners if needed.
Retiree pet yards.
Boulder City skews older demographically, which means a lot of one- and two dog households with pets that spend most of their time on the turf. These are high use yards with gentle foot traffic. A combination that benefits a lot from regular deep cleaning.
Historic home aesthetics.
Homeowners in Boulder City's historic core care about the visual presentation of their property. Matted, faded turf in front facing yards gets noticed fast. A professional clean plus fiber lift restores the color and the upright pile.

Ownership
Meet the Owner
Turf Medic was founded in 2026 by Beau, a Las Vegas resident since 2018. Before founding Turf Medic, Beau built and sold a Las Vegas pool cleaning company and currently manages a residential real estate portfolio, meaning he understands service-business standards, HOA interactions, and what homeowners actually want out of a recurring outdoor service. The origin story is simple: Beau has dogs, his own yard smelled, nothing he tried worked, so he learned how to clean turf properly. Once neighbors started asking him to do their yards, Turf Medic was a business.
Every Turf Medic job runs on equipment built specifically for artificial turf, no improvised carpet cleaners, no homeowner-grade gear off a hardware-store shelf. The professional hydrogen peroxide cleaning system is EPA-registered, contains no chlorine, no ammonia, no harsh solvents, and decomposes into water and oxygen with nothing left on the turf when we leave. Beau was formally trained in Phoenix, Arizona by Renew Turf, one of the Southwest's established turf specialists.
